CCTV Control Room Operator
Fantastic opportunity available for Security Control Room Operators to join a growing organisation. Based in Accrington, Lancashire.
As a Control Centre Analyst you will be responsible for operating and monitoring state of the art security systems and equipment within a secure and controlled environment. Working as part of a specialist team, you will be required to work to a rota which includes evenings and weekends, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Operating and following procedures for all Security Systems including CCTV, Intruder alarms, Panic Alarms and Fire alarms etc ensuring all work is compliant with company policy and legislation
Liaising direct with emergency services and other agencies where necessary
Communicating clear, concise information over telephones
Providing courteous customer service
Recording events and actions accurately
Writing accurate reports where required
Maintaining the security of the control centre and surrounding business premises
To be considered for the Security Control Room Operator position you must possess the following skills and experience:
Great team player
Work shift system (consisting nights and weekend days and nights)
Hold the relevant SIA licence to be able to operate equipment in a British Standard control room (desired but not necessary)
Possess excellent concentration levels
Be discrete when dealing with confidential information
Computer literate
Good communication skills
Good customer service skills
Confident and professional telephone manner
Must have a checkable history
Worked previously within the Security Industry or a similar role.
